Sony seems to be developing the technology of one that can enable her playstation game characters to interact even more directly with players.
While Verge revealed on Monday, a video broadcast by Sony Interactive Entertainment Software Engineering Director, Sharwin Raghoebardajal, features a version activated with Aloy character from the exclusivity of the company’s horizon game.

In the video, which has been removed from YouTube, the character can develop conversations with a player using technology including GPT-4 and Llama 3 of Openai, as well as some of the technology of Sony’s own speech and facial animation.

According to The Verge, the video demonstrated the prototype phase technology in the PC, but can be adapted to the Sony PlayStation 5 keyboard.

Sony did not immediately respond a message from CNET about the discovered video report.
While companies from Nvidia, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Openai and Meta are in a race to develop new models and technologies of he, Sony’s efforts seem to be directed at improving games and giving players to interact with characters or to navigate their experiences.
